When marketing to top-level leaders, creative thinking is key to getting noticed.
The Opportunity
In today’s competitive market, B2B companies must stand out to gain traction. Veristor is an enterprise infrastructure & network services solutions company based in Duluth, GA. They wanted to create unique direct-mail items to send to prospective clients who have shown interest in Veristor’s solutions, but who have not yet committed to doing business with Veristor.
Our Approach
Drawing on years of experience executing direct-mail promotions for our own marketing, it was natural for us to do the same for Veristor. To stand out from printed newsletters and endless email marketing that is easy to ignore (and is usually deleted without a second glance), our approach centers on creating functional items with longevity that recipients will want to keep on their desks. The items serve as reminders about Veristor’s offerings and keep the company at the forefront of recipients’ minds.
Result
We developed 3 direct-mail pieces, each delivered during a different phase of the campaign: a branded, transparent whiteboard, useful for planning strategic initiatives; a color-changing mug with bold graphics that someone would be inclined to keep on their desk and use every day; and a magnetic cube puzzle evocative of the modularity of Veristor’s services. Each promotion achieved the goal of catching recipients’ attention.
Direct-mail promotions create relationships between businesses by demonstrating value, unique perspective and longevity.
